Dr. Jim Dempsey is a Consultant to churches for the National Center for Biblical Parenting. Send him an email to set up your free first hour of consulting. Some churches only need that first hour, while others need additional hours. Some even set up a monthly arrangement for ongoing consulting for 3, 6, or 12 months. Most churches need help defining and developing their family ministries, and Dr. Dempsey has been a part of this process for both his current church, Anderson Mill Baptist Church in Austin, TX and his former church, First Baptist Church Keller, TX. Dr. Dempsey has been involved in children's ministry, the child care industry, and in helping churches develop their children's environments since 1977, his first year as a teacher.  He served as an adjunct professor for The University of North Texas, and taught at UT Austin as a graduate assistant. He has recently served as a presenter for the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention (www.sbtexas.com).

He consults with Children's Ministers, Pastors, Next Generation Pastors, and Parent Educators around the nation.
